Valentines goody bags

I got this idea from my sister Lisa, and she got it from a friend. I made these so that during the week we can fill each others bags with different goodies and such. Joey has been making his own cards for everyone with his new blow pens. Can't wait for mine!

52 things I love about you!

Just need a deck of cards, two rings, ribbon, scrapbook paper
and knowing my husband as I do,
I'll guarantee this will bring a tear to his eye!

this was my last years craft I made for my honey,
and just recently found it in his brief case that he takes to work!

valentines day heart suckers!

Place your candy canes on parchment paper and put in the oven @350 for 2-5 minutes

once they look kinda like this melt white chocolate chips in microwave 30 second increments  and stir between heatings. then pour into hearts, place in frige till chocolate sets!

Made an Orange juice cake today yummy!!!!
Joey likes to squeeze oranges so I put him to work and together we made this wonderful bundt cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup orange juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a large bundt pan, then flour it.
  2. Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, and eggs together. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter into bundt pan.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes, or until knife inserted in cake comes out clean.
  4. Combine the butter or margarine, sugar, and orange juice in a saucepan. Boil this mixture for about 2 minutes. While still warm, poke holes in the top of the cake with a fork. Pour orange juice mixture over cake. When the cake is saturated place it on a plate, and dust top with confectioners' sugar.

Getting Closer!

Well we are getting a little closer to a finish product. We still need to complete the cubbies underneath,( there will be shelves that will hold a total of 5 baskets) cut the excess material and paint underneath! Joey couldn't wait to try it out.
