Chalkboard

I've been wanting to make a chalkboard for my pantry door, but my door is quite narrow so last week I was on the hunt for a rectangle frame at garage sales, and here is what I found
$1.00, can't beat that! but it looked a bit boring!! so I decided to add this

Then I had to decide on a color, so I thought this would be good, and it was on sale  .77 cents

So I just sprayed over the picture a few times with chalkboard paint, now this is where I had to bite the bullet and spend 7.99 but......I was thinking since I had so much left I can maybe make one for the garage or ????
So after spraying it you have to let it dry over night and then season it by rubbing chalk all over it, then wiping it off. Here is the finished product

And Now here is where I hung it!

I just love Yard sales!!

table makeover

Here is yet another table I found yard sailing $5.00, I used the leftover paint from the last table I did, plus a $3.00 cuff handle (Lowe's) and here it is......do you like?

candy melt molds

Joey and I spent the afternoon making valentine goodies. Here is one Joey's being dying to try for a week now. He has been very patient with me,
Of course he had to sneak in a lick or two!

Here We have the finished product!
Great Job Joey!

Valentines goody bags

I got this idea from my sister Lisa, and she got it from a friend. I made these so that during the week we can fill each others bags with different goodies and such. Joey has been making his own cards for everyone with his new blow pens. Can't wait for mine!

52 things I love about you!

Just need a deck of cards, two rings, ribbon, scrapbook paper
and knowing my husband as I do,
I'll guarantee this will bring a tear to his eye!

this was my last years craft I made for my honey,
and just recently found it in his brief case that he takes to work!

valentines day heart suckers!

Place your candy canes on parchment paper and put in the oven @350 for 2-5 minutes

once they look kinda like this melt white chocolate chips in microwave 30 second increments  and stir between heatings. then pour into hearts, place in frige till chocolate sets!
